The Sustainable Development Festival


Organised by ASviS – The Italian Alliance for Sustainable Development (Alleanza Italiana per lo Sviluppo Sostenibile)

The aim of the Sustainable Development Festival is to spread the culture of sustainability, making the sustainable development a topical issue and drawing the national attention to the problems and opportunities related to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In light of the health emergency that has hit our Country, the 2020 edition of the Festival scheduled for May-June has been rescheduled from September 22nd to October 8th . Il will include several initiatives to further encourage Italy to achieve the 2030 Agenda. Hundreds of events, like conferences, seminars, workshops, exhibitions, shows, sport events, book presentations and documentaries, and much more will take place all over the Country. By participating in the initiatives on the calendar, it will be possible to know and deepen the Sustainable Development Goals, share good practices and stimulate ideas and policies. The events must be registered at least 10 days before the date of the events and, in any case, no later than September 18th , 2020. The Organizing Committee will communicate its evaluation of the proposals to the proposing subjects within 10 working days after the submission of the application.

Ecologie ed economie dell’acqua per la sostenibilità

Water ecologies and economies for sustainability

In the framework of the World Water Day 2020, on the 23rd of March 2020, Università degli Studi di Milano will host the seminar Water ecologies and economies for sustainability at Aula Magna – Via Festa del Perdono 7. The event is organized together with University of Milan Bicocca and Politecnico. Different panel discussions will be held to address the topics related to water policies and management but also to investigate how the society interprets these topics or how the young people are sensitized to a sustainable water use. Politicians, journalists, and professors and researchers from Milan universities will give their views.
